We are Virginia natives on a mission to visit all of Virginia’s 95 counties in alphabetical order. While it’s not the most efficient way to tour the State, it sure is a lot of fun.

As part of these Road Trips:

Mack like to fish and Lisa like to do everything except fish, but she especially like to see the LOVEworks signs.

We learn as much as we can about the backgrounds of these wonderfully diverse counties. We read about the history, citizens, and cultures, and this greatly enriches our experiences.

We visit local animal shelters, which are often hidden away in the non-touristy part of town.

We research each county’s cold cases involving homicide and missing persons. We share some of these cases here because someone out there knows something.

We bring all 3 of our dogs along for most of these trips. We use BringFido.com to look for dog friendly accommodations and activities.
